Penelope Nelson received her Masters of International Development in Human Security from GSPIA. During her time at GSPIA, as a student and staff member, she was a researcher at the Ford Institute for Human Security, completing several publications. Penelope also worked with the UNDP and the Veteran Child Soldier Association of Liberia at the Buduburam refugee camp in Ghana. Hear Penelope discuss her career path: the course work that she has found most useful, skills needed in the workforce, and advice for building these skills. Penelope will also offer some suggestions on how to break into the DC job market.
